Combined (liquid-state, solid state) cultivation of microorganisms with the use of lignocellulose biomass.

A new method of cultivation of microorganisms is designed for continuous multistage biotechnological processes using multi-bioreactor schemes. It makes possible, for example, simultaneously obtaining enzymes, hydrolysing of lignocellulose biomass, fermenting sugers and obtaining alcohols. Figure 1 shows growth stages of mycellial microorganisms during the combined cultivation. Lignocellulose biomass obtained in the process of integrated processing of plant raw materials is used as a substrate.
