Protein research group (The head - Dr. Sergei E. Permyakov)

  • Studies of physico-chemical and functional properties of metal binding proteins: parvalbumin, α-lactalbumin, lysozyme, calmodulin, S100 proteins, recoverin and so on. Metalloproteomics.
  • Studies of roles of metal cations in protein functioning.
  • Studies of functioning of metal binding proteins in cells.
  • Studies of natively disordered proteins. Protein-protein interactions.
  • Development of new methods of molecular design of proteins.
  • Development of molecular bases of new methods of treatment of oncological diseases.
  • Search and development of new experimental methods for physico-chemical biology.

Group for biomedical developments (The Head - Dr. Alexander P. Kazantsev, PhD)

  • Development and studies of registration systems of weak signals of biological objects.
  • Automation of experiments in physic-chemical biology.
  • Biological and medical studies. Data treatment: statistical analysis, Fourier- and wavelet-analysis, correlation analysis, signal filtration and approximation.
  • Development of telemedical system of mobile electrocardiography and systems of telemedical monitoring of pregnancy.

  • Development of new methods for analysis of Earth surface maps; collection, treatment, systematization, and storage of graphyc, photographic and cartographic materials.
