Mobile telemedical system for functional diagnosing of cardio-vascular diseases

The system intends for early detection of widely spread cardio-vascular diseases. It provides implementation of functional diagnosing by electrocardiographic methods, daily monitoring of electrocardiogram and blood presure.

The system consists of an IP-net of mobile comminicators or sub-notebooks monitoring the data of clinico-functional examination of patients and servers-cardioanalysers - personal computers of medical specialists, who can distantly analyse the data and give consultations to attending medical doctors.

The system shows high efficiencey compared with customary practice.

It provides

  • Three times shortening of ambulatory treatment duration, 1.5 times shortening of hospital stay;
  • 4.5 times decrease in the number of the cases of acute coronary diseases (cardiac infarction, sudden cardiac death);
  • 30 times increase in the number of cases of necessary coronary surgical operations.
    • The system is developed in collaboration with MONIKI and CNII "Kometa" (Roskosmos).

      The system is manufactured by the company "Medikom" (http://www.cniikometa.ru).

      Portable telemedical system TeleECG

      The system intends for emergency teams and for personal use in the net of urgent telecardiologic service. It operates without cable junction using Bluetooth interface, which provides full alert and high reliability in mobile conditions.

      Electrocardiograph "Alton-103AC" (manufacturer "Altonica" company, www.altonika.ru) and software of communicator (IBI RAS) allow to carry out electrocardiographic monitoring in 12 synchronous recordings. Data transmissin is realised by means of the wireless channels G2, G3, Wi-Fi or in another way using additional equipment, for instance satellite modem.

      Testing of the prototype in the practice of emergency demonstrated

      • Fast training of medical staff;
      • Avoidance of wrong diagnosis and omission of necessity in urgent hospitalization;
      • 60% decrease in the number of transportations of patients.
